Troy Duffy specializes in workers’ compensation cases and has extensive experience with representing clients before the Ohio Industrial Commission and Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
Before joining Plevin & Gallucci, Troy was a law clerk at a Columbus law firm where he assisted with workers’ compensation and Ohio Public Employee Retirement System disability appeals. He also served in several roles over a three-year period for the Marietta Municipal Court in Marietta, Ohio, including as a law clerk for the Honorable Janet Dyar Welch.
Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University, where he won the Morrill Excellence Scholarship and founded the Enigma book club, obtaining sponsorship funding from the Vice President’s Office of the Ohio State Office of Student Life.
He earned a Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in Columbus where he received the Trustees Merit Scholarship and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, Conflicts of Law. He also was a member of the Federalist Society.
In addition to being admitted to the State Bar of Ohio, he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice, Ohio State Bar Association, and Columbus Bar Association.
