Frank L. Gallucci III, managing partner of Plevin & Gallucci, has been inducted into the Cleveland State University College of Law Hall of Fame. He was joined by several other leading judges, attorneys, and legal professionals who were honored by the College for their extraordinary career achievements and their commitment to bettering the community through law and justice.
The College of Law is an iconic, 125-year-old student-centered law school committed to excellence and opportunity, social justice, and producing lawyers who are also leaders. It is the top-ranked public law school in northern Ohio in the most recent U.S. News and World Report Rankings (2024).
Frank earned his Juris Doctor from the College of Law in 2000. While building Plevin & Gallucci into one of Ohio’s most prominent plaintiff law firms, he has been deeply engaged with the College as a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and as a participant in the Association’s Mentor Program.
In 2023, he was named Alumnus of the Year by the College of Law Alumni Association for his career successes, including his years of representing injured parties in Ohio, his leadership of the Ohio Association for Justice, and his role in the national opioid crisis litigation. He was a key member of the legal team representing Cuyahoga, Trumbull, and Lake Counties in Ohio in the bellwether trials of the multidistrict litigation brought against opioid manufacturers, distributors, and retail chain pharmacies. He went on to represent several other counties, cities, and hospitals from other states. So far, the team has recovered over $1.8 billion for communities across Ohio from manufacturers and distributors, and over $55 billion for communities nationally.
