Matthew is an experienced attorney and a leading civil litigator in the Columbus legal community.
For nearly four decades, Matthew Cincione has been a respected advocate, litigator, and leader within Ohio’s legal community. His extensive experience, deep understanding of workers’ compensation law, and commitment to public service have made him one of the most recognizable figures in Columbus-area legal circles.
Matthew focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and civil litigation matters, drawing upon a career that has taken him before virtually every level of Ohio’s legal and administrative system. Over the years, he has appeared before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, municipal and common pleas courts, appellate courts, federal courts, and the Supreme Court of Ohio.

A longtime member of the Ohio Association for Justice, Matthew served on the organization’s Board of Directors and chaired its Workers’ Compensation Section. He has also been active with the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association and Columbus Bar Association.
Beyond his legal career, Matthew has devoted substantial time to public service. He has served as Mayor of the Village of Marble Cliff, as a Magistrate for the Grandview Heights Mayor’s Court, and as a member and president of Grandview Heights City Council. These roles have given him a unique understanding of leadership, governance, and community service.
Matthew earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School.
