Paul Grieco is one of Ohio’s foremost trial attorneys, a nationally respected litigator and leader with over 30 years of experience.
Paul Grieco’s commitment to justice began long before he entered a courtroom.
As the son of Peace Corps volunteers, Paul spent part of his childhood living in North Africa, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable populations and developed a deep appreciation for fairness, accountability, and service to others. Those experiences helped shape a career that has now spanned more than three decades and established him as one of Ohio’s most respected trial lawyers.
Paul focuses his practice on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, nursing home negligence, and abuse litigation. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to representing individuals and families confronting some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
After graduating from the University of Vermont and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Paul began his legal career with the New York Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn. There, he honed his courtroom skills while representing individuals who otherwise would not have had access to quality legal representation.
Upon returning to Ohio, Paul spent more than two decades handling complex personal injury and wrongful death cases before establishing his own successful practice. His reputation for excellence, preparation, and compassionate advocacy eventually led him to join Plevin & Gallucci.
Paul’s professional accomplishments are extensive. He has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers for more than seventeen consecutive years and has earned numerous distinctions, including membership in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, Lawyers of Distinction, Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent recognition, and an Avvo 10.0 rating.
One of the defining moments of his career came when he represented eleven children who were victims of abuse and neglect within the foster care system, work that earned him the prestigious Garretson Courage Award.
In addition to his litigation practice, Paul has held leadership roles within the Ohio Association for Justice, including serving as its President, and he remains active in numerous organizations dedicated to protecting the rights of injured individuals.
Outside the courtroom, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, and performing with fellow musicians. He is an accomplished bass guitarist and vocalist who regularly contributes his talents to charitable causes throughout the legal community.
