Crain’s Cleveland Business Names Prominent Plaintiffs Attorney to Prestigious Annual List
Cleveland, Ohio (November 20, 2012) – Frank L. Gallucci III, one of the top trial lawyers in Ohio and the managing partner of Plevin & Gallucci Company, L.P.A. in Cleveland, has been selected as one of the 2012 “Top 40 Under 40” leaders in Northeast Ohio by Crain’s Cleveland Business.
Each November, Crain’s salutes the outstanding achievements of young professionals throughout Northeast Ohio under the age of 40 who have established and proven themselves as leaders, actively guiding the region’s business community. This distinguished group plays a critical role in Northeast Ohio’s business development vision as it competes on the world stage. This year’s winners received their awards at a reception on November 19 at Executive Caterers of Landerhaven. Gallucci is profiled in the magazine’s November 19 issue.
Gallucci has earned a reputation for his legal acumen and his law firm has won over $100 million in judgments and settlements for plaintiffs in workers’ compensation, medical malpractice and personal injury cases. In 2012 he was selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 40 under 40 Trial Lawyers in Ohio. He has been named a Rising Star in Ohio by Super Lawyers® for the past five years and has repeatedly been designated by Inside Business as one of Ohio’s Leading Lawyers. He is a lifetime member in both the Million Dollar and Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum and a Lifetime Delegate, Eighth District Judicial Conference.
Gallucci is Treasurer of the Ohio Association for Justice, formerly the Ohio Academy of Trial Attorneys, and immediate past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation section. He is slated to become the association’s President in 2015. In 2011, he was appointed by Governor Kasich to the Industrial Commission Nominating Council. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and a Life Member of the 8th District Judicial Conference. He earned a B.S. degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
In addition to his efforts on behalf of Ohio’s injured, Gallucci has served since 2004 on the Board of the Cleveland Marshall College of Law Alumni Association, where he created an endowed scholarship fund named after his father. He serves on the Board of HELPchildren.org, is active with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and is a former Board member of Alta House and the associate board of the Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland.
