Rachel Wenning
Rachel Wenning represents injured workers in their workers’ compensation claims at administrative hearings before the Ohio Industrial Commission, in appeals before Common Pleas Courts across Ohio, and before District Courts of Appeals.
Rachel has extensive experience in Ohio workers’ compensation law. She began her workers’ compensation career at a Columbus law firm representing employers, giving her insight into how employers approach their claims. She then shifted her practice to representing injured workers.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, Rachel attended Sinclair Community College, then transferred to The Ohio State University where she earned a B.A. in Philosophy. She received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, she was the Editor in Chief of The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and a member of the Labor and Employment Moot Court team.
Rachel serves as the Chair of the Greater Hilltop Area Commission, board member and Secretary of Neighborhood Services, Inc., a Columbus food pantry, and as a legal observer with the National Lawyers Guild. She enjoys cycling with her family and reading with her book club.
