Al Sammon is one of the most respected plaintiffsโ€™ attorneys in Northeast Ohio. A principal of Sammon & Bolmeyer, a firm dedicated to workersโ€™ compensation, personal injury, and disability claims, Al and his firm recently joined forces with Plevin & Gallucci, in an of counsel relationship, to better serve the needs of injured workers and their families statewide.

He began his career as an Assistant County Prosecutor under John T. Corrigan, where he learned the importance of knowledge and preparation in prosecuting a case. He then joined his father, Martin J. Sammon, at Sammon & Bolmeyer. He managed the workersโ€™ compensation and Social Security practices of S&B for over 30 years, developing an unparalleled knowledge of Ohio workersโ€™ compensation and injury law that has allowed him to successfully pursue all forms of compensation for clients before the Industrial Commission of Ohio.

Alโ€™s success has followed into the courtroom as well. He is a Life member of the Eighth Judicial Conference as well as an active member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and Ohio Association for Justice. He is an active member of the nationwide Workplace Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG) and past president of the Cleveland Association of Compensation Attorneys. Al holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a recognition of the highest level of professional excellence. He is admitted to the State Bar of Ohio and to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.

Al earned a B.S. in Mathematics at Xavier University and a J.D. at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. A graduate of St. Edward High School in Cleveland, he is a proud member of St. Edwardโ€™s Legal Eagles and a past recipient of the organizationโ€™s Man of the Year award.

In his free time, Al enjoys a relaxing round of golf and being โ€œGrandpaโ€ to his two granddaughters, with hopefully more to come.
